„A planning can be just as good as its foundations are.“ was one of the slogans of the company founder HR. DI. Erich Korschineck.
More and more real estate developers and architects rightly demand a high quality geodetic inventory measurement before the start planning. The measurement of suitableroom lenghts, widths, heights and diagonals by means of so-called distometers (electronic measuring tapes) may be enough for the planning of single rooms. However, for the renovation of a whole building or for parts of the building as for example attics, this form of measurement is not enough. Often, the mistake is based on using historical consensus plans. The additional costs for rescheduling in the course of construction are far more expensive than a good basic survey before start planning.
Rental space plans, room books, fire protection plans etc. can subsequently be constructed from a building stock survey.
A special field of application is the recording of facades. These can originate either by tachymetry (resulting in facade views in the form of line drawings) or photogrammetrically (corrected facade photos). More and more terrestrial laser scanners which are able to scan complex details with high point destiny in 3D are used.
In the case of internal-urban building projects the geometrical configuration of the neighbor´s buildings is also often of interest. Often fire wall measurmenets in 3D are required, wich makes it reconizable whether e.g. fire wall overhangs exist.
KOPA offers its surveying services in the form of tachymetry recordings, laser scanner measurements or photogrammetic recording methods.
The results of these recordings are offered in several forms: as plane map of existing objects for the planning of various additions, as plane map with areas (e.g. rental spaces, etc.), as room books or fire protection plans. Evaluations are recently also offered as entire 3D-models as a base for BIM (Building Information Modeling).
In addition plane maps can be manufactured, cross-sectional views with or without projected views, views in form of line-drawings and views in form of digital orthophotos. Fire wall measurements are also in the repertoire of KOPA as for example 3D-scans for the wide range of applications.
Of course it is also possible to provide simple point clouds wich allow the user to move within the point cloud, to measure in it etc.
